I saw a picture when I was a child, full of the light of the sun.
I built a house to hold it in, for no real reason, just for fun.

As the time for cries drew nigh the threat had already begun,
I saw the day turned into night when I was young.

So ring the alarm and see what they say, I don't believe they're listening.
Some call it a warming,
I call it a warning.

There's still a place far away from here where people want to be forgotten.
I shade my face to hide all the tears but my lonely heart is not uncommon.

At the end of the night morning has broke, underneath the calm, spreading out among.
The time of lies is gone, the thread of ill is done, I saw my life become the light the moment I turned one.
